Terms and Conditions

I aim to provide a professional and fair service. Below are my terms and conditions. By booking my services, you agree to all terms of requirements outlined below.

Cancellation

I will rearrange any lesson cancelled with at least 48 hours; I will try my best to rearrange the lesson at a convenient time for you. However, this may not be possible due to my schedule. I will work with you to find a time that is convenient for everyone involved. Lessons cancelled within 48 hours will be lost, and I will not rearrange them. Unless in cases of an emergency; I will not issue a refund. All students get one grace lesson cancellation (or if you forget, it happens); I will try my best to rearrange the lesson free of charge. However, rearranging the class is dependent on my availability. I will do my best to work around your availability.

Any booking that you cancel two weeks in a row will not be reserved, and I can not guarantee that the lesson will be available. This policy excludes half terms.

Childcare issues do not count as an emergency.

Half Term

You may cancel your lessons for half term, and I will assume that you will resume the same lesson time after half term. You may change your timings in half term. But please contact me at least three days before the lesson.

Block Bookings

Once the first lesson of a block booked (weekly, monthly or hourly) has taken place, the block is secured, and I will not give a refund if you cancel the block (unless extreme circumstances are in place).

Timings

I will be on time and prepared for all lessons. If I am late, you will receive double the time (in minutes) back for free. If your child is late for a class, I will not give the time back unless there are extreme circumstances. I may not give back the time during the lesson where lateness occurred.

Payment

Any PayPal or bank fees are billable to you, and I will include them on your invoice. You must make payment in full before the first lesson occurs; if you have opted to be billed monthly or book a block, you must make a payment for the first lesson before the first lesson. The balance on the invoice is payable after I have completed the first lesson. If you require a refund for any reason, I will issue your refund within three days. Unfortunately, the amount of time the payment takes for you to receive is out of my control, and I am unable to tell you how long it will take to reach you.

Conduct

I will communicate with you professionally. I expect the same in return. I will not tolerate abusive or inappropriate language of any kind, and I reserve the right to terminate contact and all future lessons immediately. I will not issue a refund if I cancel your classes for this reason.

I will reply to message within normal business hours (Monday-Friday 7:30-17:30). You may contact me anytime you wish but I may not reply. If you are contacting me for an emercency I will reply at any time.

Termination of Services

I will give you the length of your block or two weeks (whichever is greater) if I wish to terminate my services (unless this cancellation occurs due to abusive or inappropriate contact). If you want to terminate my services, you must give the same notice, the length of the block booked or two weeks (whichever is greater).

Extreme circumstances

Extreme circumstances are defined as any circumstance outside of your control such as serious illness, requiring hospitalisation, Covid-19 related issues, family emergencies, such as a relative becoming seriously ill, and care needs to be provided by family. This list of reasons is not definative and you should contact me to discuss any issues you feel classifiy as extreme circumstances.

Extreme circumstance is given entirely at my discretion and will be discussed with you in full at the time of the request.

Extreme circumstances are not childcare issues, block booking cancellations, or anyone your child is with that forgets the lesson. These circumstances do not infringe on the grace lesson cancellation.
